Another time...

Tragedies... Analogies... Eclipsed...

"When broken where will you go?" his voice could be herd echoing around the silent room as he watched the girl in front of him. Her back faced him as she stood looking out the window watching the rain fall, her slender arms wrapped around her upper body as she hugged her self. She made no attempt to answer his question, she knew it would be useless to try and explain to him everything that she had seen threw the years. And why she would go back there. It was where her heart lied, a place were only a few knew it resided. A place that she could nearly call home...

But you can't have everything you want when you want it...

She wanted to not have to worry with the minor details. There was a job to do, and it needed to be done. Humanity... Something that she knew others had already given up on. But she just could not follow their ideas just yet. There was still some innocents left in the world she believed. And that little bit of light she was not going to give up on just yet. She'd defined it even if it cost her everything... Her hazel colored eyes watched every little detail that passed in front of them. Blending into the shadows was something she had learned along time ago to do. Out of the corner of her eye she saw it. What she had spent the last few months chasing, waiting and watching for. Watching as the figure move into a dark ally across the road from where she stood. Waiting just a few seconds before she stepped across the road to fallow, pulling out a dagger from under her jacket sleeve as she entered the ally. This would hopefully end tonight, and then there would be no need for her to have to chase the ghost any longer. But as she continued to fallow him she knew, it would never end, this was his game not hers. She was just a pawn, she knew it the moment he turned showing her his face with that twisted smile...

Condemned...

She was condemned to this fate, she had escaped but that did not mean he had not leave his mark on her. Having left the small town she had found him in days ago, she now looked up upon the one building that she knew she could come to when she needed rest. Walking up the steps and entering the door the smell of old books hit her, sighing just ever so quietly to her self she walked to her place in front of the fire and sat down. Relaxing and letting her guard down if only for a few blissful moments before she'd let the world take her back to its darkness. A darkness she has come to know all to well... But for the moment she was home.
